Why Use a Travel Agent?

Almost any vacation or trip can be booked directly online these days, so why should you contact a travel agent to book your travel?

There is a LOT to know when planning a Disney vacation, and that can be confusing and overwhelming. Let’s take Walt Disney World in Florida. Did you know that Walt Disney World is the size of a city? Disney has their own government, their own water treatment plant, and their own (quite effective) mass transit system. It’s huge. There are around 30 different resorts on Disney property where you could choose to stay. In addition to the 4 amazing theme parks and Disney Springs, there are 2 water parks, 2 golf courses, 2 mini-golf courses, and a sports complex. There are also dozens of good hotels and resorts just off property.

So Many Choices

How do you know which resort to pick and what attractions to plan to see? What options do you have if you are a family larger than 5 people?

I can help you with that. I can give recommendations based on your party size and who’s traveling with you.

Disney has three different resort categories: Deluxe, Moderate, and Value. I can help you find the best fit for your budget and your travel style.

If you’re cruising, I can also help you find Disney Cruise Line cabins that are the right fit for your party, and make sure if you need more than one cabin, that you get them near each other on the very large cruise ships. I can also give you some money-saving tips that you may not come across on your own.

I’m an annual passholder at Walt Disney World, and I have visited four times in the last year: once with our whole family of 7, once with just our girls, once with just our older boys, and once as a romantic weekend for me and my husband.

I have personal experience navigating the parks with a child with special needs. If you need special assistance, I will make sure you know about the valuable accommodations that Disney provides, that make your visits to the parks much smoother.

I read a LOT about Disney. I read (and re-read) travel books written by experts, and keep up-to-date on things that are new at the Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line.

Sure, you could go online and book your own trip, but then you wouldn’t have someone guiding you along the way. You wouldn’t have a person you could contact with the smallest question. You wouldn’t have someone a text away, checking on you to make sure your trip is going great. You’d have a 1-800 number and a new person to speak to each time.

My services provide the personal touch that can make you feel like a VIP.

Best of all, booking with a travel agent comes at no cost to you. That’s right, it’s FREE to get my personal, concierge service. Disney pays my commission, and it’s built into their price whether you use my services or not. The same goes when booking a non-Disney destination. Whether a Marriott on the beach in Florida or downtown Chicago, an Alaskan cruise, or an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, I can help you plan the trip you dream of, at no extra charge to you.
